Shany Krimberg Barel

Mrs. Krimberg Barel brings over a decade of experience in the medical device industry, specializing in the development of mechanical devices and delivery systems. Prior to joining InspireMD, she served as Director of Project Management at Perflow Medical, a company focused on innovative devices for neurovascular interventions. In this role, she led cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Mrs. Krimberg Barel held various leadership positions in R&D and Project Management, providing technical expertise, strategic direction, and driving successful product development initiatives.

Mrs. Krimberg Barel holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion Institute and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Peter J. Ligotti

Mr. Ligotti joins InspireMD with over 30 years of medical device experience where he focused on providing innovative clinical solutions across multiple surgical specialties. He has held leadership roles in commercial, strategy and general management both in the US and internationally.
Prior to joining InspireMD, Mr. Ligotti served as Vice President and General Manager for NuVasive Specialized Orthopedics. Before that, he served as Vice President of Global Commercial Strategy at Smith+Nephew where he led the integration of the Integra orthopedic business and overall extremities strategy.
At Integra Lifesciences, Mr. Ligotti, held leadership roles in a several business units that became key growth drivers for the organization. While managing the international Specialty Surgical business he was responsible for integrating the Codman neurosurgery platform which was the largest acquisition in the history of the organization
His tenure at Integra culminated as the Sr. VP and GM Extremity Orthopedics where he scaled the commercial footprint and expanded the portfolio with innovative solutions in shoulder and ankle arthroplasty. Mr. Ligotti earned his BA degree in Biology from Syracuse University.

Cheryl Tal

Ms. Tal has over 20 years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance and clinical trials for the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.  She has established and implemented quality management systems, obtained worldwide regulatory licenses and handled clinical trials for a wide variety of medical devices in all stages of development.  Her experience covers both start-up and large global companies, including managing QA/RA teams and CRO’s.

Ms. Tal has worked in the past in various managerial positions at Redent Nova, Change Healthcare and New Phase.

Shane Gleason

Mr. Gleason has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry leading clinical and commercial operations in both public and privately held companies.  Prior to joining InspireMD, he served as Vice President of Sales, Vascular Interventions at Surmodics, a medical device company focused on addressing unmet clinical needs in intravascular medicine.  Prior to Surmodics, Mr. Gleason served in a variety of leadership roles in the interventional medical device space, to include Senior Director, US Transcatheter Heart Valves Marketing for Edwards Lifesciences, a developer of artificial heart valve technologies; Chief Commercial Officer of Nuvaira, a privately held developer of therapies that preserve patient lung health; and Vice President of Sales roles with both Cordis, a Cardinal Health company, and TriVascular Technologies, now part of Endologix.  He began his medical device career with a variety of progressive leadership roles at Abbott Vascular, where he launched the second FDA approved carotid stent system.

Mr. Gleason received his B.S. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and his M.B.A. from University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.

Marvin Slosman

Mr. Slosman has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry with focused leadership in commercialization and international market development in both public and privately held companies. Prior to joining InspireMD, he served as a Business Consultant for Integra LifeSciences overseeing commercial strategy and market development for Integra’s international business. Before that, he served as President of ITAMAR Medical, a developer of cardiovascular and sleep diagnostic technologies. Prior to ITAMAR, Mr. Slosman served as Chief Executive Officer of Ovalum Vascular, Ltd., a privately held medical device company focused on vascular device innovations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Slosman served as Chief Executive Officer of Phormax Medical, Inc., Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emerge Interactive in addition to senior commercial leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, GE Healthcare and Baxter.

Mr. Slosman received a BS from The University of Alabama and an MBA from The University of Chicago.

Amir Kohen

Mr. Kohen has over 20 years years of experience in financial and accounting management, including experience with global listed companies in the US and Israel. Prior to joining InspireMD, he spent six years at PwC in various management roles.

Mr. Kohen graduated with honors with a B.A. in Economics, Business Management & Accounting and an MBA in Financial Management, both from the Tel Aviv University. In addition, Mr. Kohen graduated with honors with an M.A. in Law from Bar Ilan University.

Craig Shore

Mr. Shore has over 25 years of experience in financial management in the United States, Europe and Israel. He has served in various senior financial and general management roles at General Electric, Dunn and Bradstreet, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Bristol Myers Squibb. The vast majority of his career has been spent within the pharmaceutical and high tech industries. His experience includes raising capital, both in the private and public markets. While serving as Chief Financial Officer of a leading telecom company, RIT Technologies, he successfully led its initial public offering on NASDAQ and subsequently managed all investor relations.

Mr. Shore graduated with honors and received a B.Sc. in finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from George Washington University. He strengthened his financial and leadership skills through the General Electric’s Financial Management Program.

Andrea Tommasoli

Mr. Tommasoli has over 20 years of experience in commercializing innovative medical technology solutions that improve and advance standards of care.  He has served in commercial leadership positions at Integra Life Sciences and St. Jude Medical-Abbott.  Most recently in his role as Senior Director of Indirect Markets at Integra, he led the commercial expansion and integration of Codman’s acquired portfolio in all OUS indirect countries. Before that, Mr. Tommasoli ran the Neurosurgery and Instruments business in direct sales countries in Europe. Prior to Integra, Mr. Tommasoli was the Director of St. Jude Medical Neuromodulation division in France.

Mr. Tommasoli received his B.A. in Nuclear engineering from Bologna University, Italy and his M.B.A. from HEC Paris, France.
